So You Want To Take a Class in Tin Can Art!

 Friday, Saturday and Sunday: May 14-16, 2010   9:30 am - 4:30 pm        $350

This Tin Can Art class is designed to help you learn to use the wide variety of tools and techniques used in creating art from recycled tin cans and the material gleaned from deconstructing them.  It is never too early to gather as many painted tin cans, such as olive oil tins, license plates, bottle caps, cookie tins, popcorn tins, as you can. Many artistic pieces can be created from tin cans.  In fact almost anything can be made from tin cans, but it is up to you to decide what you would like to make. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind items, and often whimsical in nature.  Many functional pieces like paintings, wall sculptures, handbags, jewelry, musical instruments, clocks, lamps, and toys, can be fashioned from tin cans.
